Friends of Scouting Goal Reached
Thank you to all of the families, business owners and community organizations who make the 2007 Friends of Scouting Campaign a huge success. Black Gold District reached its Friends of Scouting Campaign helps pay for the maintenance of our camping facilities, provides training for volunteer leaders, and helps provide professional program support. Again Thank You for your support.

Roundtable Meetings
Roundtable Programs Bring Life to Black Gold Monthly events.

The Black Gold District Roundtable Meetings is held on the first Thursday of every month, from September to June at the Dix Community Center in Dix, IL. These meetings have traditionally been full of information on district and council activities, along with special events and opportunities for Scouting units in Jefferson, Marion, Clay, and Wayne Counties.

We would like to see all units in the Black Gold District have a presence at our monthly meetings, and any questions about the program can be forwarded to Dennis Bathon, Senior District Executive at 242-8505.
